Texas University Longhorns (3) VS. Texas A&M University Aggies (14)
As the series shifted to College Station, both teams were anxious for the game to start – the Longhorns were looking for their first win of the season and the Aggies wanting to go 2-0 against their rivals.
Energized by a large home crowd, this physical game was dominated by the Aggies scoring output, persistent fore-checking and strong defensive maneuvers. A&M started strong and completed with a consistent, balanced style that stymied the Longhorn attack.
